This week our episode is about toy repair with Catherine Bhattachar , COO of Tiny Earth Toys. This was an interesting conversation to spark ideas of how to handle goods that children touch, play with and often put in their mouths!
Fun Q+A
1. What’s your favorite example of a product to repair? Upholstery/furniture
Name something that you own and love and has been in use for more than 5 years. I recovered the upholstered headboard my parents had on their bed when I was born (the first bed I slept in) and it's now the headboard in my guest bedroom.
What is something you want to learn to repair yourself? My bicycle (I still cause a pinch flat every time I try to change the innertube)
What is a product in your daily life that cannot be repaired that frustrates you? Food-safe repair of porcelain dishes
